Finish

A rustle in the leaves, a tiny nose pointed down the path, and a coat full of woodland character. This little porcupine looks as though he has wandered out of a storybook to find a quiet corner beneath your flowers.

Our Woodland Porcupine Metal Garden Stake brings a whimsical woodland touch to flower beds, porch planters, and garden borders. His low walking silhouette, pointed snout, little feet, and sweeping quill outline give him plenty of personality. Open quill, ear, and eye details let the colors of your garden show through the steel.

A little woodland story for your garden

Tuck him beneath the hydrangeas, let him wander beside a winding cottage path, or nestle him among autumn mums and fallen leaves on a cabin porch. He makes a sweet companion for woodland gardens, fairy garden displays, and rustic farmhouse planters throughout the year. A thoughtful gift for porcupine lovers, gardeners, and anyone who enjoys finding a little unexpected charm among their blooms.

Choose your finish

Raw: Bare, unsealed steel with its natural mill character. Exposure to air, rain, and humidity will gradually develop rust and patina. Steel color and surface markings may vary.

Rusted: Our signature hand-started finish is genuine rust, begun in our shop using vinegar, peroxide, and salt. Each piece develops its own earthy tones because the steel's surface and grain vary. It is unsealed and will continue rusting and changing over time. Rust may transfer to your hands or the surfaces it touches.

Production & shipping

Your porcupine is cut, cleaned, welded, and finished for your order. Please allow 7–10 business days for production before shipment. Free UPS Ground shipping and your chosen finish are included in the $55 price. Tracking is provided when your order ships.

Please note

No two pieces will rust or age exactly alike. The lifestyle image uses AI-assisted styling to show display inspiration; surrounding plants, containers, and decorations are not included. Your porcupine is cut from flat steel. Please use the stated measurements when planning your display.

Returns, cancellations & order issues

Because each piece is made to order to your selected specifications, we do not accept returns or refunds for change-of-mind purchases. Cancellations are accepted within 10–12 hours of purchase.
