A little winter world of its own

Our happy front-facing penguin stands on a gentle snow-inspired sweep beneath bright little stars. The steel cutouts are genuinely open, allowing the garden, evergreens, and changing seasons to show through—never white paint or luminous inserts. Display all three heights together on cabin steps, across a porch, or grouped among planters for a cozy winter welcome. This listing includes the complete 18-, 24-, and 32-inch trio pictured. Other styling props are not included.

Choose your finish

Raw Steel: Cleaned mill-finish steel, unpainted and unsealed. It will naturally oxidize, rust and develop patina over time outdoors.

Rusted Finish: Our genuine signature hand-started rust patina, developed with common household ingredients such as vinegar, hydrogen peroxide and salt. This is real rust—not paint or powder coating. Each piece has unique variation, and the unsealed finish continues evolving naturally. Photos show the Rusted Finish.

Rust may transfer to hands, clothes, floors, furniture and nearby surfaces. Protect surroundings as needed; an appropriate clear coat applied after arrival can help slow additional oxidation if desired.

Crafted for cottage porches and winter gardens

These sturdy, professionally fabricated four-sided columns have open tops and open bottoms, making them sculptural garden and porch accents—not solar luminaries. They're lovely surrounded by evergreen branches, pinecones and warm plaid or gifted as a special set to a penguin lover.

Production and free shipping

Each column is handmade to order in our Michigan family shop. Allow 7–10 business days for production before shipment, plus carrier transit time. Free shipping is included. UPS Ground is our primary carrier wherever delivery to your address is available, with USPS used when UPS delivery isn't available. Tracking is provided.

Returns and order concerns

Because these pieces are made to order in your selected finish, returns and refunds for change of mind are not accepted. If anything arrives damaged, incorrect, or does not arrive, please contact us within seven days so we can review and work toward an appropriate resolution.
