Your two-piece set

• ONE 24-inch tall × 5.5-inch wide column and ONE 32-inch tall × 8-inch wide column.
• 14-gauge steel, professionally fabricated with the same front-facing penguin and star plasma-cut design on all four sides of each column.
• Open top and bottom: no cap, solar light, bulb, backing or internal illumination.
• Choose Raw Steel or Rusted Finish for both columns; $330 includes the selected finish and free shipping.
• Handmade to order, with 7–10 business days production plus shipping transit.

A pair of winter visitors

Each penguin stands on a gently sweeping snow-inspired base beneath scattered stars. The designs are fully cut through the steel, leaving true open spaces that reveal the setting behind the artwork, not white paint or luminous backing. The different heights create a lovely layered arrangement for a snow-dusted porch or among evergreen planters. The featured photo shows the two pieces included here. A separate comparison photo also shows an 18-inch column for reference; that smaller column is not included.

Finishes and care

Raw Steel: Cleaned mill-finish steel, untreated, unpainted and unsealed. Outdoors it will oxidize and develop rust and patina naturally.

Rusted Finish: Genuine hand-started rust using ordinary household ingredients including vinegar, hydrogen peroxide and salt. This is actual rust, not imitation paint or powder coating. It remains unsealed and will continue to deepen and vary naturally. Photographs show the Rusted Finish.

Rust may transfer to clothing, hands, furniture, floors, walls and other surfaces. Protect surrounding materials. An optional suitable clear coating after delivery may slow further oxidation.

Production and free shipping

Handmade to order in our Michigan family shop. Allow 7–10 business days for production plus carrier transit. Shipping is free, with UPS Ground primary where delivery is possible and USPS as fallback where UPS is unavailable. Tracking is provided.

Returns and order issues

Due to made-to-order production, returns and refunds for change of mind are not accepted. If an order arrives damaged, incorrect or fails to arrive, contact us within seven days so we can review and work toward an appropriate resolution.
