A cheerful winter visitor

Our largest version of the front-facing Penguin 1 design creates a statement beside a porch bench or garden entry. A little penguin stands on a sweeping snow-inspired base beneath twinkling stars, with the landscape visible through the true plasma-cut openings. Identical cutouts appear on all four steel sides; white spaces are completely open, never white paint or a solid backing. The comparison photo shows all three sizes—18, 24 and 32 inches—but this product includes only the single 32-inch column.

Choose your finish

Raw Steel: Cleaned mill-finish steel, otherwise untreated, unpainted and unsealed. It naturally darkens, oxidizes and develops a rust patina as it ages outdoors.

Rusted Finish: Our signature genuine rust patina is hand-started with common household ingredients including vinegar, hydrogen peroxide and salt. It is real rust, not faux paint or powder coating. The steel remains unsealed, so color and texture vary and continue changing naturally. Photos show the Rusted Finish.

Unsealed rust can transfer to hands, clothing, walls, flooring, furniture and surrounding surfaces. Protect nearby materials as appropriate. An optional suitable clear coat applied after delivery may slow further oxidation.

Production and free shipping

Each column is handmade to order in our Michigan family shop. Please allow 7–10 business days for production before shipment, plus carrier transit time. Free shipping is included; we use UPS Ground whenever available for your physical address, otherwise USPS may be used. Tracking is provided.

Returns and order concerns

Because each piece is made to order according to selected specifications, returns and refunds for change of mind are not accepted. If your order arrives damaged, incorrect or fails to arrive, contact us within seven days so we can review the situation and work toward an appropriate resolution.
