Vertical MERRY GRINCHMAS lettering stretches alongside the character scene, creating a tall Christmas accent with plenty of personality. His folded arms, sly expression, and Santa hat make this a natural conversation piece for a porch dressed for holiday visitors.

The lettering and illustrated openings are cut through the steel, letting the wall or scenery behind your sign show through. These are genuine openings—not white paint, printed artwork, or an illuminated backing.

Lean it beside your front door with evergreen planters and oversized plaid bows, mount it near an entry bench, or hang it beside a covered porch post using suitable hardware of your own. Red berries, snowy greenery, and a cozy throw nearby help create a cheerful Christmas setting around its mischievous centerpiece.

A fun fit for whimsical Christmas decorators, character-themed holiday displays, and rustic farmhouse porches, this piece also makes a distinctive handmade gift for a Grinch fan with a sense of humor.

Choose your finish

Raw
Raw steel as it comes from the steel mill, cleaned before shipment but otherwise unfinished and unsealed. It will naturally oxidize and develop rust or patina over time. Humidity, weather, handling, atmosphere, and display location influence how quickly it ages and how that patina appears.

Rusted — The Dirt Road Gardener’s signature hand-rusted finish
Our Rusted finish is genuine rust, started by hand using ordinary household ingredients including vinegar, hydrogen peroxide, and salt. It is not paint, faux rust, powder coating, or a printed finish.

The steel is intentionally left unsealed so it can continue naturally rusting and developing a deeper patina. Variations in color, texture, and rust pattern are expected and are part of the character of genuine weathered steel.

Rust may transfer to hands, clothing, walls, flooring, furniture, or other surfaces it contacts. Please consider surrounding surfaces when choosing your display location. If you love the appearance as it arrives and want to help slow continued oxidation, you may choose to apply an appropriate clear protective coating after receiving it.

Flat Black
A flat black finish creates a bold contrast against lighter backdrops and pairs naturally with red plaid, evergreen branches, and cream holiday accents.
