Autumn Berry Vine Metal Porch Leaner

There’s a moment each fall when the porch becomes its own little harvest garden—mums spilling from old buckets, pumpkins gathered beside the steps, and berry-covered branches tucked into a wreath. Our Autumn Berry Vine metal porch leaner brings that gathered-from-the-garden charm to your doorway, with tall AUTUMN lettering beside a winding vine of leaves and berries.

The generous lettering gives this piece a clear seasonal greeting, while the climbing berry vine adds delicate botanical detail along its length. The lettering and botanical openings are cut through the steel, allowing the wall or scenery behind the piece to show through—not a painted design or printed background.

Lean it beside your front door with cream pumpkins and copper-colored mums, mount it near a porch bench beneath a dried-flower wreath, or hang it beside a porch post using suitable hardware of your own. It also makes a lovely seasonal accent against a garden shed or near a sheltered patio entry.

Its botanical character suits cottage gardens, farmhouse porches, and rustic harvest displays. Bring it out as the first leaves begin to turn and enjoy it through Thanksgiving, changing the surrounding flowers, pumpkins, and gathered branches as the season unfolds. For a gardener or a friend who loves decorating the porch for fall, it makes a distinctive handmade gift.

Choose your finish

Raw
Raw steel as it comes from the steel mill, cleaned before shipment but otherwise unfinished and unsealed. It will naturally oxidize and develop rust or patina over time. Humidity, weather, handling, atmosphere, and display location influence the speed and appearance of that aging.

Rusted — The Dirt Road Gardener’s signature hand-rusted finish
Our Rusted finish is genuine rust, started by hand using ordinary household ingredients including vinegar, hydrogen peroxide, and salt. It is not paint, faux rust, powder coating, or a printed finish.

We intentionally leave the steel unsealed so it can continue rusting naturally and developing a deeper patina. Variations in color, texture, and rust pattern are expected and are part of the character of genuine weathered steel.

Rust may transfer to hands, clothing, walls, flooring, furniture, or other surfaces it contacts. Please consider surrounding surfaces when choosing your display location. If you love the appearance as it arrives and want to help slow continued oxidation, you may choose to apply an appropriate clear protective coating after receiving it.

Flat Black
A flat black finish offers a bold, simple contrast against lighter siding, pale pumpkins, and autumn flowers, giving the lettering and berry vine a crisp presence in your seasonal display.
