2025 Heritage Snowflake | Metal Snowflake Wall Art

Meet the 2025 Heritage Snowflake, the original annual snowflake design from The Dirt Road Gardener. This handmade steel snowflake wall art brings timeless winter character to a farmhouse porch, cottage entryway, cabin wall, garden fence, or holiday display. Its intricate six-point silhouette makes a beautiful statement alone—and pairs with the 2026 Heritage Snowflake for a collected-over-time winter display.

Handmade Metal Snowflake Wall Decor

• Original 2025 Heritage Snowflake design, made to order in our family-operated Michigan metalworking shop
• CNC plasma-cut steel with a detailed branching snowflake silhouette
• Six sizes: 8, 12, 18, 24, 30, and 36 inches, measured across the overall design; proportions scale with size
• Three finish choices: Raw Steel, Signature Rusted, or Flat Black
• Ideal for winter wall art, farmhouse Christmas decor, cottage porches, cabin entrances, garden fences, and gift giving
• One wall silhouette per purchase; display accessories and mounting hardware are not included

Choose Your Size & Finish

Select your snowflake size and finish from the options above. Each piece is cut and finished individually. Please check measurements before ordering; larger sizes make dramatic statement pieces, while smaller sizes are ideal for grouped snowflake walls.

Our Authentic Steel Finishes

Raw Steel: Natural, unfinished steel with its own mill color and texture. It is not sealed and will naturally oxidize when exposed to moisture and outdoor conditions.

Signature Rusted: A genuine rust patina developed by hand, not rust-colored paint. The finish is unsealed and continues to change outdoors. Color and texture vary from piece to piece; rust residue can transfer to nearby surfaces and fabric, especially when wet.

Flat Black: Steel finished with flat black paint for a classic, understated appearance. Painted surfaces can require maintenance or touch-up over time outdoors.

Mounting Update — Effective November 4, 2026

New feature added following customer requests: Beginning November 4, 2026, newly produced 2025 Heritage Snowflake wall silhouettes include four pre-cut pinholes for hanging and mounting. We added this feature after hearing from customers who wanted easier installation on walls, fences, and porches. Snowflakes sold before November 4, 2026 did not include mounting pinholes unless the customer specifically requested them. This is a change to the design going forward and does not mean previously purchased snowflakes were supplied with mounting holes. Mounting hardware is not included.

Displaying & Caring for Your Snowflake

Suitable for indoor or outdoor decorative display. Choose mounting hardware appropriate for your wall or fence material and the size and weight of the piece; hardware is not included. Avoid placing unsealed steel directly against delicate fabrics or stain-sensitive surfaces. Outdoor exposure will weather Raw and Rusted finishes naturally.
