If you’ve stumbled onto this dusty little corner of the internet, I want to say welcome—like truly, coffee’s on and the porch swing’s open kind of welcome.

My name’s Josette (but around here, I go by “Dirt Road Gardener”), and this blog is my new home for the stories that don’t quite fit in a product description or a social media caption.

This isn’t just about flowers or farmhouse décor—this is about building a life that feels like home, right where your boots are planted. It’s about the garden that teaches you patience. The simmer pot that smells like memories. The porch that holds your stories. It’s about doing life from scratch—and doing it covered in grace.

Over the years, I’ve learned a thing or two from the dirt beneath my fingernails and the blooms that kept coming back, even after long winters. I’ve raised babies and businesses. Built brands and flower beds. I’ve weathered storms, gotten it wrong, and grown anyway.

And I’ve always come back to this:
